Technology is not just about writing code — it’s about solving problems and building solutions that impact people’s lives. My journey into tech did not begin with programming. It started with creativity, design, and a curiosity about how digital products work behind the scenes.
Today, I am transitioning from graphic design into frontend development, and this journey has completely transformed how I see technology.
This is my story.
🎨 My Background in Graphic Design
Before diving into code, I was a graphic designer. I worked with tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, creating visuals and digital designs. Design taught me:
-
Attention to detail
-
Creativity and visual balance
-
Understanding user experience
-
The importance of clarity and simplicity
However, while designing interfaces, I kept asking myself:
“How do these designs actually come to life in a browser?”
That curiosity pushed me beyond design.
💡 The Turning Point
I got an opportunity to join Refactory — and I decided to take it.
That decision changed everything.
Refactory exposed me to structured software development training. For the first time, I was not just designing interfaces — I was building them.
